SPIN Divorce Coaching Terms of Service
Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing SPIN Divorce (spindivorce.com) and purchasing or utilizing our coaching services, courses, or digital resources (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Services.
2. No Legal Advice and No Solicitor-Client Relationship
SPIN Divorce provides strategic coaching, educational resources, and emotional support. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services.
The information and coaching provided are not substitutes for the advice of a qualified legal professional. Engaging with SPIN Divorce, purchasing our courses, or participating in coaching sessions does not create a solicitor-client relationship. You are solely responsible for retaining your own family law lawyer for court proceedings, legal document drafting, and specific legal advice regarding the Family Law Act or your individual case in Ontario.
3. Scope of Services
Our Services are designed to help women navigate high-conflict divorce and post-separation abuse by offering strategic planning, organizational techniques, and communication coaching. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes in your family court case, financial settlements, or custody arrangements, as these are determined by a judge or through independent counsel.
4. Confidentiality and Safety
We treat all coaching conversations and personal information with strict confidentiality. However, please be aware that our confidentiality is subject to legal limits. We may be legally obligated to disclose information if there is an imminent threat of physical harm to yourself or others, or if required by a court order.
5. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
All fees for courses and coaching sessions are processed securely.
Digital Courses: Due to the downloadable and immediately accessible nature of our digital courses, all sales are final and non-refundable [or state your refund window, e.g., within 14 days].
1-on-1 Coaching: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least [24] hours in advance. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a forfeiture of the session fee.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SPIN Divorce, its founder, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services, your reliance on any information provided, or any outcomes related to your legal proceedings.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Disclaimer: I am a divorce coach, not a lawyer. Given the high-stakes nature of family law and post-separation abuse, it is highly recommended that you have an Ontario-licensed lawyer review this document to ensure it perfectly aligns with your liability needs.
